The Scottish SPCA is appealing for poo bags for dogs in the care of their Ayrshire and South West Scotland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

The centre is in need of poo bags for the eight dogs in their care who may be seeking temporary refuge as part of court proceedings, need some extra TLC, or be ready and waiting to find their forever homes, like Bruno.

Poo bags can be purchased from the centre’s Amazon wishlist or via any other online retailer offering direct delivery to the centre.

Centre manager, Marion Hainey, said, “We are currently running extremely low on poo bags to clean up after the dogs in our care like Bruno.

“Bruno has been in our care for over 71 days and is still waiting to find his new home.

“He is a gorgeous dog with a big personality, and we are hoping to find him a patient and understanding owner who can further his training.

“Sadly it is not uncommon for us to care for dogs for long periods of time before they are rehomed, and as you can imagine we can get through a lot of poo bags!

“We would be so grateful to anyone who can make a donation.”

Poo bags can be donated via the centre’s Amazon wishlist here: https://amzn.to/2ZMOeSI or sent from another online retailer that can deliver. Items can also be left in the donation bins outside the centre at: Millview, Mainholm Road, Ayr, KA6 5HD.
