What is the Kiltwalk?
An opportunity to don your kilt and take on one of three walks to raise money for a good cause. The Kiltwalk is a massive fundraising event which takes place in four Scottish cities at different times throughout the year.
You can choose from:
- The Might Stride, which is a marathon-length 26 miles
- The Big Stroll, which is 13 miles
- The Wee Wander, which is 6 miles
Throughout the routes, there's various pit stops to help you to power on through. At the end of each walk every participant gets a meal voucher to use in the Kiltwalk Village.
Who can take part?
Anyone aged 5 and above can get involved in The Wee Wander. The Big Stroll is open to anyone aged 10 or older whilst The Mighty Stride has an age limit of 13 or older.
If you would like to take part to raise funds for the Scottish SPCA, please register online by visiting www.thekiltwalk.co.uk and stating the Scottish SPCA as your chosen charity.
