Help care for animals, raise funds and lots more!
Volunteer and help the Scottish SPCA this Scottish Animal Week
During Scottish Animal Week we have opportunities to fundraise throughout Scotland and we would be very grateful if locals can get behind our appeal and help.
Door-to-door fundraising can be carried out between Monday 2 and Friday 6 September, while people can hold street collections on their local high street on Saturday 7 September. You may even wish to get into the fundraising spirit and dress up as your favourite animal or bring your canine companion along.
John Murasev from South Ayrshire is a regular volunteer for the Society. John says
"I enjoy raising money to help abused and injured animals in Scotland. It's a great way to chat to people in my local area and you'll be surprised at how generous people are!"
As an animal welfare charity, we receive no government funding and rely on the generosity of the public to continue our vital work so everyone taking part will be helping save lives.
Even if you can only spare an hour or two to shake a collection tin, your time and efforts will be hugely appreciated.
