Dog Rehoming

Rehoming a dog can be a dramatic change to your home and your lifestyle. Therefore, the decision to rehome should not be taken lightly. There are many types of dogs available to rehome and it is important to choose a breed which will suit you. We can offer advice and support - just give us a call or visit our rescue and rehoming centres.

While we try to establish the background of every dog in our care, sometimes this isn't possible due to dogs being strays, unwanted or victims of abuse. We will always tell you if we know or believe dogs are not suitable for homes with young children.

The rehoming fee for a dog is £115 and £125 for a puppy. Every dog we rehome will be neutered (subject to veterinary advice) and we offer free neutering if dogs are too young to be neutered when rehomed. The fee also covers veterinary checks, vaccinations and microchipping.

The Scottish SPCA does not put healthy animals to sleep.

Our animal rescue and rehoming centres are open daily from 10am to 4pm. Call 03000 999 999 (option 2).
