Martin is a very handsome young lad who has spent several months in our care with very little interest, which is a huge shame as Martin is a true gentleman.

When Martin first came in to our Lanarkshire Centre he reacted to the busy kennel environment by being very energetic and vocal in his kennel space. His jumping around and barking put people off and gradually the visitors to Martin's kennel became fewer and fewer.

We knew Martin wasn't happy so a member of staff took him home to see how he would cope away from the hustle and bustle of the centre and he was a completely different dog.

We have found that Martin travels well in the car, sitting on the back seat with his harness on, and he is very well mannered in the home. He will go to his bed when asked, doesn't beg at the table and will sit and wait until he is told before taking any food that is offered to him.

This loveable lump used to pull like a steam train but now he walks much better on the lead. He is house trained and loves playing with his toys.

An ideal home for Martin would be one where he will gets lots of company and fuss, plenty of good walks and ongoing training.
