About rehoming

Denver, a rehomed collieScottish SPCA animal rescue and rehoming staff rehome thousands of animals every year.

If you are interested in adopting a dog, cat, rabbit, other domestic pet, or even rehoming a horse, farm or exotic animal, you may find the right animal for you in one of our animal rescue and rehoming centres.

Not every animal in our care is on our website, as many dogs are still legally strays, some animals are subject to court cases and some are being nursed back to full health.

While details are given here and you can telephone our animal rescue and rehoming centres for more information, animals cannot be reserved or rehomed by telephone or online.

To rehome an animal you must visit the appropriate animal rescue and rehoming centre, where our helpful staff will be happy to answer your questions about pet adoption.

Please be aware that some of the animals on our rehoming pages may have already been rehomed. These pages are updated regularly to try to prevent this.

Please also read our rehoming conditions pdf before considering rehoming an animal.
