About rehoming
Scottish SPCA animal rescue and rehoming centre staff rehome thousands of animals every year.
Visit our online animal rehoming section to view some of our dogs needing new homes, rescue cats and other animals for rehoming, including rabbits and other small animals.
Not every animal in our care is on our website, as many dogs and cats are still legally strays, some animals are subject to court cases and some are being nursed back to full health.
While details are given here and you can telephone our animal rescue and rehoming centres for more information, animals cannot be reserved or rehomed by telephone or online.
To rehome an animal you must visit the appropriate animal rescue and rehoming centre, where our helpful staff will be happy to answer your questions about pet adoption.
Please be aware that some of the animals on our rehoming pages may have already been rehomed. These pages are updated regularly to try to prevent this.
