The Scottish SPCA is seeking a special owner for a dog and her three-legged daughter.
Eleven-year-old crossbreed Bess and seven-year-old Pepsi have been in the care of our Dunbartonshire and West Scotland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre for almost two months.
Staff at our centre in Milton are now looking for a kind person to take on the close pair and keep them together.
Centre Manager Joe McDade said, "Bess and Pepsi are family and have lived with each other all their lives so we're really keen not to split them up.
"They're very attached to one another and Bess really looks after Pepsi so it would be a real shame to see them separated.
"Both are friendly and loving dogs who will make great pets for someone.
"Unfortunately, Pepsi only has three legs due to an old injury but copes well and certainly doesn't let it hold her back.
"Sadly, it's been very difficult to find someone who will open their heart and home to two older dogs, so we're really hoping there's a caring person out there who will give this great pair a second chance."
Anyone interested in offering Bess and Pepsi a forever home together can visit our Dunbartonshire and West Scotland Centre or call our Animal Helpline on 03000 999 999.
