The Scottish SPCA is seeking a special owner for a kitten whose entire tail had to be removed as a result of an injury.
Tiny Tot, a four-month-old male, came into the care of our Glasgow Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in October as a stray. He was suffering from a terrible injury to his tail which could have been a result of being hit by a car.
Unfortunately, Tiny Tot's tail was completely paralysed and vets had no option but to amputate.
As he recovers from his operation, staff at our centre in Cardonald are desperate to find the sweet cat a loving new home where he can continue to adjust to life without a tail.
Centre Assistant Manager Anna O'Donnell said, "Tiny Tot is a gorgeous kitten and such a contented wee soul despite his tough start in life.
"As he arrived as a stray, we're unsure how he ended up with this injury but it's possible he was hit by a car.
"Sadly, no owner has come forward for this brave boy so we are now looking for a special owner to show him the love he deserves.
"Despite having a few balance problems since his operation, Tiny Tot has coped remarkably well and is continuing to improve each day as he as gets used to having no tail.
"We all adore him as he just loves cuddles and attention and he'll make a fantastic pet for the right person."
