The Scottish SPCA is looking for a new owner for lifetime friends Sash the dog and Freda the cat.
Crossbreed Sash and house cat Freda arrived in the care of our Glasgow Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre after their owner sadly passed away.
Now staff at our centre in Cardonald are desperately looking for a special person to take on the close pair and keep them together.
Centre Assistant Manager Anna O'Donnell said, "Sash and Freda have lived with each other all their lives so we're really keen not to split them up.
"They're older animals, aged nine and ten, so they're really attached to one another and we'd hate to see them separated.
"Sash is a really friendly and loving little dog who would make a great pet for someone.
"Unfortunately, Freda only has three legs but copes well. She's an independent cat who would enjoy a quiet household where she can enjoy her retirement.
"Freda is cautious when meeting new people so prospective owners would be required to visit the centre on a few occasions to gain her trust."
Anyone interested in offering Sash and Freda a forever home together can visit our Glasgow Centre or call our Animal Helpline on 03000 999 999.
