Would you like to help raise funds to care for Scotland's abused, abandoned and injured animals?
If so, we are looking for fundraising volunteers all year round and particularly during Scottish Animal Week, which runs from 3-9 September.
Scottish SPCA Chief Superintendent Mike Flynn said, "As an animal welfare charity, we receive no government or lottery funding, which means we depend on public donations to continue our vital work.
"During Scottish Animal Week we have opportunities to fundraise throughout the country. Even if someone can only spare an hour or two to shake a collection tin, their help would be greatly appreciated.
"It's something we always say because it's true - every pound and penny raised really does make a difference and helps give animals in desperate need of our help a second chance in life."
