Rehoming from the Scottish SPCA
We rehome thousands of animals each year from our animal rescue and rehoming centres throughout Scotland. Animals rehomed include all types of domestic pets, such as dogs, cats and rabbits, exotic animals and even farm animals.
If you think that you would be able to provide a safe, loving environment for an animal then please visit one of our centres and our staff will be happy to help you find a new addition to your home.
When you visit a centre with a view to rehoming you will need proof of address, such as a utility bill or your driving licence, and will be asked to fill in a pre-home questionnaire to help us decide whether your circumstances meet the Society’s requirements.
Although you are free to walk around our kennels and catteries at any point during this process, it is not until staff have confirmed that you meet our criteria that you will be able to have any hands on contact with any animals you are interested in.
Please be aware that some of the animals on the search pages may have already been rehomed. The pages are updated regularly to try and prevent this.
To navigate the search menu, please select by centre then by type or breed of animal. Centre details will be on each animal’s individual page.
Please read our homing conditions before considering rehoming an animal.

Animals cannot be reserved by telephone or online. If you are interested in rehoming a specific animal you should contact the centre and organise a visit to discuss the animal’s needs with our staff.
